Food Bank Of The Golden Crescent Helps in Disaster Relief
On September 19th and 20th - The Food Bank of the Golden Crescent worked with the Southeast Texas Food Bank of Beaumont to feed the many Texans who felt the wrath of Ike.
F.B.G.C. donated their time and their resources to the well organized and innovative staff of Southeast Texas Food Bank, lead by Executive Director Emelie Irving and Director of Operations Donald Stagg.
During this dedicated effort of disaster relief, F.B.G.C. assisted SE.TX.F.B. in a Texas size distribution of items like pasta, canned meat, rice, beans, cereal, individually wrapped snacks, ice, water, paper products and diapers to the distress victims of Hurricane Ike, in Beaumont and the surrounding counties.
